Initial Space Planning
A couple of hours in your home to discuss your needs and requirements. I use a lifestyle approach, as well as commercial viability for the property, to come up with a plan that works for your family, now and in the future. This stage is crucial and can avoid costly mistakes further down the road. This service can also be used to discuss overall design ideas for a space. A ‘pick my brains’ service if you like. Please note that this does not include design moodboards.
Interior Design Moodboards
This is my no nonsense -beautiful but practical - interior design service! Schemes are created for any room, and will always include paint, furniture and fabrics and the very important area of lighting. They may include carpentry ideas, tiling, carpets, blinds, curtains and anything else needed to bring your space alive and make it work for you and your family. After the initial consultation, mood boards are created and when these are agreed, buying lists are formed. You can choose to execute the room yourself or get help to make it all happen.
Other services
-Whilst you may wish to organise your scheme yourself, I can also help you with product ordering, liaising with seamstresses, designing and organising bespoke carpentry, choosing carpets and organising fitters.
-I can plan lighting schemes before an expensive rewiring project.
-Final styling stage: this really is the icing on the cake. It includes the buying of those little extras which make a room personal and exciting! No longer the service for the elite, all budgets are catered for.
-I can make further site visits throughout the project or simply act as a sound board – anything that helps to get your scheme progressing! I will charge an hourly rate with estimates per item if needed.
Architects, Builders and Tradesmen Advice
I will help you navigate and decide on the best experts for the job, using my little black book of contacts. Cost effectiveness is crucial at this stage so that you do not pay for services that you don’t actually need! I am happy to look over plans and sense check and challenge where needed and help plan a schedule of works for any size of project, whether one bathroom or full scale rear extension.
